The papers and tv programs are focusing heavily on 9/11 this weekend.

The shock, the horror and the shared grief that were missing as I sat watching the events unfold before my eyes at 11pm on that night a year ago, finally emerged when Jason thrusted yesterday's paper at me and said, "Here. Read."

I want to forget - the implications of the event, past, present and future, are ones that I do not want to dwell on. But I don't suppose anyone would let us forget. Not America, anyhow. America will never forget.
