We are miffed. It's Cup day tomorrow. Everyone takes the day off. Everyone. Except us poor Uni Melb students. We have to attend classes.

Therefore, in the middle of my Curriculum and Assessment workshop tomorrow, I am going to insist the workshop leader switch on the tv so we can watch the race. It is the race that stops the nation. Everything, I mean, everything, stops for this race.

I traditionally back the Caulfied Cup winner - if I had put money down on Ethereal last year, I would have won a bundle! Thing is, I can't remember who won the Caulfield Cup!
